Day 4: Kazinga Channel boat cruise, Semuliki hot springs tour
Check out of Buffalo Lodge after breakfast, get on board and transfer to the pier/dock to arrive on time for your boat cruise on Kazinga Channel. A thread of water that joins lakes George and Edward, Kazinga Channel is lifeline/habitat to Nile Crocodiles, arguably the highest concentration of Hippos on planet Earth. Different species of Egrets, Goliath Herons, Saddle-billed Storks, African Fish Eagles, Egyptian Gees and Cormorants among other bird species can easily be spotted. The channel is a source of water for Elephants, buffaloes and attracts many bird-species.
After the boat safari, drive to Semuliki National Park for the hot springs tour. Lunch en-route. The drive is simply breath taking on meandering roads alongside the eye candy views of the Rwenzori Mountain ranges. Depart for Fort portal after the tour.

In the afternoon after hitting the Nile rapids, visit the source of the mighty Nile River. Take a boat and see the spot where the waters of the Nile River separate from that of the Lake Victoria.
