This 5-day trip takes you to Kibale Chimpanzees Park and Bwindi Gorillas Park for Chimpanzee tracking and Gorilla trekking, respectively. The tour comes with a drive through Queen Elizabeth Park for the tree lions and other animals. Also, this 5 Days Uganda safari will involve a boat ride and tour of Lake Bunyonyi located not far from Bwindi. Itinerary for the 5 Days Gorillas and Chimpanzees Tour
Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Kibale National Park ‘’5 to 6 hrs’’
Transfer to Kibale. At your desired pick-up location in the morning, you will be met by your driver from Jungle Escape Africa. He will take you briefly through the program for your 5 Days Gorillas and Chimpanzees Tour. After Proceed for your journey to Kibale National Park famously known as the World’s Primates Capital. Besides Chimpanzees, the most prominent ones, Kibale has other 12 primate species which include red colobus, Lhotse’s monkey and colobus monkeys. You will have en-route lunch in Fort Portal and proceed with the journey arriving Kibale forest late afternoon. Check into your booked lodge, refresh and wait for dinner before night rest.
Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking, Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Chimpanzee Tracking: Wake up and have an early breakfast. With your packed lunch boxes, 
your driver guide will pick you up to drop you at the park headquarters for a short briefing about the chimpanzee tracking activity. During your search, expect to encounter other primates and forest mammals like the elephants, bush pigs, duikers, warthogs, reptiles as well as a variety of birds and butterflies. The tracking can take from 30 minutes to 5 hours. Once chimps are found, trackers will be given an hour to photograph as you get to learn more about them. After chimpanzee trekking, trek back at the headquarters and your driver guide will transfer you to Queen Elizabeth Park.
Day 3: Game viewing drive through Ishasha to Bwindi
Transfer to Bwindi: After having your morning breakfast, transfer to Bwindi’s impenetrable national park with en-route lunch and a stopover in the Ishasha sector where you will be able to spot the unique tree climbing lions and other animals. Upon arrival in Bwindi national park, you will check into the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi
Gorilla trekking. The 4th day of your 5 Days Gorillas and Chimpanzees Tour is for tracking Mountain Gorillas. Wake up early for breakfast and prepare well for the trekking activity. Pick packed lunch boxes, rain gear and drinking water. Drive to the park headquarters to attend the general briefing conducted by the head ranger.
Pick walking sticks, hire a porter (not a must) and ascend to the forest following your allocated guide and rangers. They will lead you to where the Gorillas were last seen the previous evening so that you start trekking them. It can take 1 to several hours of trekking through a physically demanding terrain. Follow and photograph them for one hour after finding them. Check out of the forest and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation.
Day 5: Boat ride and Journey back, departure flights
Boat ride and departure. Check out after breakfast and visit to explore lake Bunyonyi and its islands with a boat. After the experience, join your drive and embark on the journey to Entebbe or Kigali airport. Upon arrival, the driver guide will drop you off and leave you to check in for your flights.
