Itinerary for the 3 Days Gorilla Safari Uganda

Day 1: Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After a delicious breakfast at your hotel in Kampala/Entebbe, you shall be met by your driver/guide from Jungle Escape Africa. You will start the first day of your 3 Days Gorilla Safari Uganda with a scenic drive to Bwindi through Masaka and Mbarara cities. Pick some fresh fruits on the way and the first confirmed stop shall be at the Uganda Equator. At the Equator, is the chance to stand in the imaginary middle of the earth accompanied by a photo opportunity. Lunch stop in Mbarara and continue with the drive up to your final destination, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Check into your preferred lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

After a hot cup of coffee/tea, and with your packed lunch boxes, head out to the park offices. Attend the usual briefing about the dos and don’ts of Gorilla trekking in Bwindi. In a group of not more than 8 people, you will ascend to the forest with your allocated guide to look for a Gorilla family. You shall photograph, watch them play and feed at a safe distance for a full hour. After those great moments with the Mountain Gorillas, meet your driver at the edge of the forest and head back to the lodge. Evening relaxation at the lodge as you end the second day of the 3 Days Gorilla Safari Uganda.

Day 3: Journey back to Kampala/Entebbe airport

Check out of the lodge for a leisurely breakfast as you exploit your last moments at the home of the Mountain Gorillas. After breakfast, embark on your journey back to Kampala with a lunch break in Mbarara. From there you will proceed with the drive and make another and last stop over at the Equator.
